  2. Cook on a HIGH setting for 4 to 5 hours, or all day on a LOW setting.

Easy Crock-Pot Smothered Pork Chops With Gravy

Pour chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, onion soup mix, and garlic into the Crock-Pot slow cooker and whisk together.

Place pork chops inside slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours or until pork is tender.

To thicken gravy, first carefully remove meat from slow cooker. Then dissolve cornstarch with cool water in a separate cup, and pour into slow cooker.

Stir well, cover lid and cook on high for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.

Serve pork chops with gravy on top.

It&rsquos always helpful to have super simple Crock-Pot ideas handy, and this one is a winner!

If you&rsquore looking for a true &ldquoset it and forget it&rdquo slow cooker meal using just a few pantry ingredients, try these mouthwatering slow cooker smothered pork chops. The result is an incredibly warm and comforting meal idea that the whole family will love!

This recipe is not fancy at all, but it&rsquos so tasty and gets the job done when you need a convenient dinner on weeknights.

    • Try to look for the thicker cut bone-in pork chops for this idea, as they are hearty and will hold up well in the slow cooker.
      • The gravy it makes is so delicious, so I definitely recommend serving the pork chops with mashed potatoes, or even rice would be great, too. Check out how easy it is to make mashed potatoes in the Instant Pot!
        • There are lots of variations of this meal, including using a ranch seasoning packet instead of onion soup mix. I think that sounds yummy as well.

One of the biggest things when making such a large piece of meat for us is that we often have a lot leftover. No one really likes the same meal over and over again, so often you make wonder what to make with leftover pork loin. This is also a great way to knock two or more dinners out of the way. Simply purchase a larger pork loin than the recipes calls for and double the sauce. Then, you can use the leftover pork loin for multiple meals throughout the week. Some of our favorite leftover pork loin recipes are:

Of course, one really simple idea is just to shred the pork tenderloin pieces, add in some more homemade bbq sauce and make pulled bbq sandwiches. Easy peasy!

My easy crock pot pork chops are truly a set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker meal.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these tasty smothered pork chops.

        • 4-6 pork chops, bone-in or boneless (I used New York pork chops)
        • 1 (10 ½ oz. can) cream of chicken soup
        • 1 (10 ½ oz. can) cream of mushroom soup
        • 1 cup chicken broth
        • 1 packet onion soup mix
        • ½ teaspoon black pepper

As I noted above, I like using boneless pork chops when I make this dish.

The great news is, however, you can use any pork chops your family prefers. Bone-in pork chops are fine as well!

The soups really add a lot of flavor to this dish as it cooks.

One of my favorite things about this crock pot pork chops recipe is the delicious gravy it creates.

I always love to make mashed potatoes and veggies to go with this dish. Biscuits are also wonderful dipped in this scrumptious gravy.

This is the perfect meal to start before heading off to church on Sunday morning!

        Or use an instant pot

If you’re in a time crunch, your Instant Pot, or other pressure cooker, is a quicker option that yields the same result.

        1. Select saute on your instapot. Add 1 Tbsp of olive oil and brown all sides of the pork roast.
        2. Turn instapot off. Remove the pork roast and add ½ c water and liquid smoke.
        3. Return roast to the pot and add salt.
        4. Cover with the lid and select “manual”. Set timer for 90 minutes.
        5. Allow the pressure to naturally release before removing the lid. This will take about 20 minutes.

        Enjoy the leftovers!

Storing: Keep the juices from the crock pot to use when storing leftovers. Put pork and some juice from the crock pot in an airtight (freezer safe, if applicable) container. Store in the fridge for 3-4 days or the freezer for up to 6 months.

Using in other recipes: You can always enjoy kalua pork on its own, or we like to put it inside rolls to make sliders. You could also use it on tacos, nachos, or put it on top of a salad. It’s pretty versatile!

We sure love finding simple, yet delicious, meals – especially if they’re done in the slow cooker. Easy peasy!
