Cucumbers in vinegar


I give cucumbers, dinner gives steak? :))

  • I don't have exact quantities for this recipe, everything is ochiometric.
  • cucumber ochiometric
  • ochiometric sugar
  • ochiometric salt
  • ochiometric vinegar
  • ochiometric carrot
  • ochiometric mustard seeds
  • ochiometric bay leaves
  • ochiometric peppercorns
  • dried dill flowers also ochiometrically
  • After the preference you can add onions and garlic. I did not add, I prefer without these ingredients!

RECIPE PREPARATION Cucumbers in vinegar:

The cucumbers are washed and placed nicely in jars (I used 1,700 ml jars)

The jars must be very well dried.

In each jar put a teaspoon of mustard seeds, a teaspoon of peppercorns, 2 bay leaves and a few slices of carrot (7-8). Then add 2 tablespoons grated salt, 4 tablespoons grated sugar and vinegar about 3 fingers. On top we put a dried dill flower. At the end it is completed with cold water.

We seal each jar with a lid.

In a saucepan, on the bottom of which I put a kitchen towel, place the jars of cucumbers. which we wrap in newspapers or in small kitchen towels so that during cooking they do not touch each other and break ..

Add cold water to the pan a little below the neck of the jars and leave over medium heat (about 15-20 minutes) until the cucumbers change color.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the jars cool in the pan.

When they have cooled, take the jars out of the pan, wipe them and then store them in the pantry,

They can be eaten after about 2 weeks.
