Ingredients for making soup with dumplings and green peas.

Making soup with dumplings and green peas:

Step 1: prepare the peas.

Pour green chopped peas into a colander and rinse thoroughly under running water. After that we transfer the component to the middle pan and fill it 1.5 liters of clean cold water.

We put the container on medium heat. When the liquid boils, make a small fire and cook the peas under the lid. In the meantime, prepare other ingredients for the soup and, of course, dumplings.

Step 2: prepare the flour.

Pour the flour into a sieve and sift it into a small bowl. This must be done so that subsequently in the test lumps do not come across.

Step 3: prepare the water for the dough.

Pour clean water into the Turk and put it on a small fire. When the liquid boils, turn off the burner and immediately proceed to the process of preparing the dough until the water has cooled.

Step 4: prepare dough for dumplings.

Pour boiling water into a bowl with flour and immediately mix everything well with a tablespoon until smooth. Then add vegetable oil, salt and coriander to the container. Knead the dough with clean hands until it becomes tight and stops sticking to your hands. Attention: if necessary, you can add a little more flour.

Step 5: forming the dumplings.

We give the dough the shape of a ball or oval and put it on the kitchen table, crushed with a small amount of flour. Then with our hands we roll out a thin "sausage" from it. Given that the dumplings will increase 1.5 - 2 times during cooking, cut the dough into pieces of the desired size. I usually grind the sausage into pieces 1 - 1.5 centimeters each. Now sprinkle a small amount of flour on a free chopping board and put dumplings on it. Leave them aside on 20-30 minutes.

Step 6: prepare the carrots.

With a knife, peel the carrots and then rinse thoroughly under running water. Using a coarse grater, grind the vegetable directly into a clean plate.

Step 7: prepare the cabbage.

Hands remove the top coarsened leaves from the cabbage and slightly rinse the vegetable under running water. Using a coarse grater, rub the component into a clean plate.

Step 8: prepare bell peppers.

Rinse the bell pepper under running water and put it on a clean cutting board. Using a knife, remove the tail and seeds. Then cut the vegetable into two halves along. Grind each part of the pepper with squares and transfer to a free plate.

Step 9: prepare the vegetable frying.

Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and put on medium heat. When the container with the contents warms up well, put all the chopped vegetables into it. From time to time, stirring everything with a wooden spatula, fry for 5 - 7 minutes. After the allotted time, turn off the burner, and set the pan aside.

Step 10: make soup with dumplings and green peas.

When the peas are cooked, remove the lid from the pan and add another 200 milliliters pure water. We are waiting for the liquid to boil again. Immediately after that, salt the soup to taste, mix everything well with a tablespoon and carefully lay out the dumplings in the container. Make a small fire and cook after boiling 7 minutes. Then add vegetable frying. Again, mix everything with improvised inventory. As soon as the soup boils again, boil it again 5 minutes and remove from heat.

Step 11: serve the soup with dumplings and green peas.

Immediately after cooking, pour the soup with dumplings and green peas with a scoop on deep plates and can serve at the dinner table. A hot dish is very tasty and fragrant. They can be treated to household members, serving along with slices of bread or crackers.

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of chopped green peas, you can add fresh-frozen to the soup. In this embodiment, this component is best added after we cook the dumplings, as fresh peas will be ready in 5 to 10 minutes;

- chopped onions can also be added to vegetable frying. But in the soup itself, you can add slices of potatoes;

- there are a lot of dumplings recipes, so if you wish, you can cook the dough in another way. The taste of the soup will not change for sure.
