For salad

  1. Cucumbers 1 kg

For marinade

  1. Vinegar 10% 1/2 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. 1/4 cup water
  4. Tomato paste 1/2 cans
  5. Allspice 4 peas
  6. Bay leaf 3 pieces
  7. Black pepper 6 peas

Cooking a salad of cucumbers and carrots with tomato paste for the winter:

Step 1: prepare the vegetables.


You will need three plates, one for each vegetable.
Peel the onion and cut into medium-thick feathers. Peel the carrots and grate on a medium grater. Peel the cucumbers and cut into thin slices.

Separate onions, carrots and cucumbers separately and add a tablespoon of salt to each plate. Shuffle and leave everything to stand on 2 hours.
After a couple of hours, you need to squeeze the vegetables and drain the allocated juice.

Step 2: prepare the marinade.


When the vegetables are squeezed, start cooking the marinade.
Combine vinegar, sugar, water, and tomato paste in a saucepan. Add allspice and black pepper and bay leaves.

Boil everything while mixing.

Step 3: pickle a salad of cucumbers and carrots with tomato paste.


Add all the vegetables to the boiling marinade and mix well. Boil the salad for 15 minutes. Remember to mix often.
