Ingredients for Making Duck Breast with Orange Sauce

Cooking duck breast with orange sauce:
Step 1: Prepare the duck.
We wash the duck breasts under cold running water, put it on a cutting board and cut off the excess fat, and also remove (if any) small feathers.
Then we turn on the medium heat on the stove, shift the duck breasts meat down into the pan. The pan should be such that it can be removed in the oven, that is, without wooden handles. Fry meat on both sides for 15 - 20 minutes or until a beautiful golden crust forms.
Step 2: Cooking the Orange Sauce.
In the meantime, the breasts are fried and prepare orange juice. So, carefully wash the oranges under running water, wipe them with napkins or paper kitchen towels and put them on a cutting board. With a sharp knife, cut citruses into large slices directly with the zest.
We shift to the pan.
Pour white dry wine.
Add ground ginger root.
To taste the salt.
We rinse the lemon under running water, cut it in half on a cutting board and squeeze the juice from any half into a saucepan.
Turn on a small fire on the stove, mix everything with a kitchen spatula, bring to a boil and cook 10 - 15 minutes.
Step 3: Bake the dish.
As soon as the duck is covered with a beautiful golden crust. We take a sieve for flour or a colander and pour our citrus sauce into the pan through it. Then cut each breast transversely into several pieces. The remaining orange slices can be left to decorate the finished dish.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees We put the pan on a baking sheet and put it in the hot oven. Bake duck breasts for 10 - 15 minutes until ready.
Step 4: Serve the duck breast with orange sauce.
We transfer the duck breasts to a beautiful plate for serving, fill it with orange sauce, decorate with slices and serve hot for the second. As a side dish, vegetable salads are best suited. Everything, our tasty and fragrant dish is ready, it's time to taste it!
