Toffee pudding


Ingredients for Making Toffee Pudding

  1. Pitted dates 80 grams
  2. Sugar Demerara 160 grams
  3. Butter 80 grams
  4. Wheat flour 80 grams
  5. 1/2 chicken egg
  6. Fat cream (35%) 80 milliliters
  7. Fat sour cream (30%) to taste
  8. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  9. 3 gram baking powder
  10. Soda 3 grams
  11. Coarse salt 2 pinches
  12. Hot water 80 milliliters

Inventory:

Bakeware, hot pot holders, foil, stewpan, wooden spoon, kitchen knife, cutting board, whisk, tablespoon, deep plate, bowl.

Cooking Toffee Pudding:

Step 1: Prepare the dates.


Finely chop the dates, fold into a bowl, sprinkle with soda and pour 80 milliliters hot boiled water. Leave them as they are for a while.

Step 2: Cook the dough.


In a bowl, mix olive oil and exactly half of the prepared sugar. Beat one chicken egg separately and pour half the resulting mass into butter with sugar. Mix well.
In a separate plate, mix honey with sifted wheat flour, a baking powder for a dough and a pinch of soda.
Now pour the mixture of eggs, butter and sugar into the flour and mix well together.
Lastly, add dates to the dough and mix everything very well again.

Step 3: Bake Toffee Pudding.


Arrange the prepared dough with a tablespoon in muffin tins. Wrap on top with foil.
Bake the pudding in a well preheated 180 degrees oven for 25 minutes. And check the baking readiness in the same way as with muffins, piercing the middle with a knife or a toothpick. If the knife blade or the tip of the toothpick is dry at the exit, then that means you're done.

Step 4: Cook the sauce.


Put the butter in a saucepan, pour the fat cream, add a pinch of salt and the remaining half of the sugar.

Put everything on high heat and, while stirring, wait for the sugar to dissolve. Then reduce the heat and cook the sauce, stirring the same way all the time, for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Serve Toffee Pudding.


When the pudding and sauce are ready for it, carefully remove the dessert from the tins, pour it with hot sauce and serve. Do not forget to decorate each serving with a spoon of oily sour cream. Toffee pudding will surely please you and will become one of the most favorite desserts, so you will definitely cook it many, many times, both for the holiday and simply to please yourself and your family.
