Cooking chicken skewers with pineapple:

Step 1: Prepare the chicken breast.

Defrost the chicken breast and clean it from the skin, and then separate it from the bones so that you get a clean fillet. After washing the chicken, dry it thoroughly with paper towels and cut into large, wide 3-4 centimeterscubes.

Step 2: Prepare the onion and garlic.

Peel the garlic clove and chop it properly, passing a couple of times through a special press.
Rinse the onion feathers thoroughly under warm running water, dry with towels, and then cut them into rings.

Step 3: marinate the chicken breast.

In a deep bowl, beat soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, ginger and green onions. Stir them well to make a marinade and place slices of chicken in it, slightly squeezing everything on top. Leave the meat as it is for at least 15 minutes. Of course, it is advisable that your barbecue marinate at least 30-40 minutes, but sometimes there are situations when there is no time to wait, so I indicated a minimum.

Step 4: Prepare the wooden skewers.

While the chicken is pickling, soak the wooden skewers in clean cold water. To prevent them from burning out during cooking, they must be kept under water for at least 20 minutes.

Step 5: Prepare the pineapple.

Take a half of ripe and peeled pineapple and cut it into cubes, the width of 3-4 centimeters. Just like chicken fillet before.

Step 6: Form the kebabs.

For everything to be at hand, set a pickled chicken, soaked wooden skewers, pineapple cubes and a deep plate. String skewers of chicken and pineapple alternately on a skewer, then lay it in a deep plate and take on the next batch.

Step 7: Fry chicken kebab with pineapple.

It is best to fry chicken kebab with pineapple on charcoal, on the grill, it is there that it turns out most delicious. But you can do this in the grill pan, and in a conventional oven. In any case, before frying, grease the kebab with vegetable oil, then place it on a wire rack, on a hot grill pan or in a preheated pan. 200 degrees bake the oven and periodically turn it over so that it is baked on all sides. On the grill and grill, the cooking time is approximately 20 minutesand in the oven - 30-40 minutes.

Step 8: Serve chicken kebab with pineapple.

Serve chicken kebab with pineapple immediately after cooking, while it is still hot. Serve it with a side dish of boiled rice or fresh herbs mixed with lemon juice and olive oil. It turns out incredibly light, tender and tasty chicken meat with a sweetish flavor, which is added to the pieces of fruit.

- If you cook chicken kebab with pineapple in the oven, the main thing is not to overdo it there, otherwise it will become too dry.

- Instead of fresh pineapple, you can come canned, but do not forget to pour the syrup from it, or even better, add less brown sugar to the marinade, so that it doesn’t turn out too sweet.

- If you cook chicken skewers at the stake, then you can use metal skewers. Of course, you do not need to pre-soak them.
