Ingredients for Making Apple Meringue

A glass (capacity of 250 milliliters), an oven, a non-stick or heat-resistant baking dish, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, paper kitchen towels, a bowl - 2-3 pieces, a blender, a plastic wrap, a refrigerator, a mixer, a deep basin, a tablespoon - 2 pieces, non-stick baking sheet, baking paper, kitchen spatula, kitchen potholders, dessert dishes for serving.
Cooking Apple Meringue:
Step 1: prepare the apples.
Making this dessert is quite easy, but if you know a few simple rules and start with the oven, turn it on and heat it up to 180 degrees Celsius. At the same time, thoroughly rinse under the trickles of cold running water the right amount of large apples and dry them with paper kitchen towels. Then with a sharp kitchen knife we cut out the core from each and insert it back. We shift the fruits into a non-stick or heat-resistant baking dish and move on.
Step 2: bake the apples.
When the oven heats up to the desired temperature, put apples in it on the middle rack, still raw, and bake them for 30-40 minutes. Duration may vary by size, as well as fruit varieties, if loose and juicy, then less time may take 25-30 minutes, so periodically pierce the fruits with a table fork. Do the teeth enter smoothly, without pressure? If so, the apples are ready! We pull the kitchen gloves on our hands, rearrange the form on a chopping board, previously laid, on the countertop and allow its contents to cool to room temperature.
Step 3: make applesauce.
Then again we remove from each fruit a core with seeds and a tail. Remove the peel from the fruit, transfer the pulp into a deep bowl and grind it to a homogeneous gruel in any convenient way, for example, wipe it through a sieve with a fine mesh or grind it with a submersible blender, although you can chop everything using a food processor. The dishes with the finished mashed potatoes are tightened with plastic wrap and sent to the refrigerator on 40-50 minutes or an hour, and turn off the oven, it is not necessary that it once again overheats.
Step 4: prepare the mixture for apple meringue.
When the applesauce cools well, add all the powdered sugar into it and a tablespoon thoroughly loosen these ingredients until smooth. Then we put two large egg whites in the resulting slurry, put the bowl in a deep basin filled with ice or ice water, and beat the meringue mass with a mixer at the highest speed, until it turns white and thickens to such an extent that there is a spoon in it. At the same time, you can start again preheat the oven to 80-100 degrees Celsius, but no more!
Step 5: form apple meringue.
As soon as the apple-protein mixture acquires the desired structure, using the same tablespoon, we spread it on a non-stick pan pre-coated with baking paper. It is desirable that between each serving of raw meringue there should be a small free space of a width 1.5-2 centimeters.
Step 6: bake apple meringue.
Then put the dessert in a preheated oven on a medium rack and dry it for 1.5-2 hours. If the oven does not keep the desired temperature, but exceeds it, then it is better to slightly open the door so that there is a small gap about a wide 2-3 centimeters! Gradually, the cakes will become denser, maybe in some places they will slightly crack and change their color to white and beige. After the right time, turn off the oven and leave the dessert in it until it cools completely, it will take another 60-90 minutes. Then, helping ourselves with a kitchen spatula, transfer the meringues to a large flat dish or distribute them on plates and serve to the table!
Step 7: serve apple meringue.
After drying, the apple meringue is left in the oven until completely cooled and served at room temperature as a dessert on dishes specially designed for this purpose.
If desired, this yummy can be supplemented with any other goodies, for example, grated fruits or berries, sauces based on them, melted chocolate, jam, jam, honey or whatever you like.

- optionally chopped nuts can be added to the beaten apple-protein mass;
Are the apples too sweet? In this case, the amount of powdered sugar is best reduced.
