Cooking fettuccine with mushrooms:

Step 1: Cook the fettuccine pasta.

The first step, as for cooking any other pasta, we need to boil pasta. To do this correctly, first fill the saucepan with half or a little more water. Boil over high heat and add the fettuccine pasta. Wait a little while the water boils again, then reduce, add salt to taste and cook 9.5 minutes to the state of al dente. At the end, throw the pasta into a colander, thereby draining unnecessary, excess water. Leave the ready-made pasta in a colander, fixing it on weight.

Step 2: Prepare the champignons.

Rinse the champignon mushrooms thoroughly under running water. Sort clean mushrooms, carefully inspecting them, if necessary, remove dark spots with a knife. Then rinse again and chop. Crush thick legs in circles, and hats thin slices, or just cut mushrooms lengthwise into plates.
In a pan, melt all the butter at once and fry the mushrooms in it, not forgetting to turn and mix the mushrooms. All they need to be fried 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel a couple of cloves of garlic from the husks and finely chop them. Add chopped garlic to the pan to the mushrooms through 5-7 minutes after starting to cook them.

Step 3: Cook the creamy sauce.

Now add ground black pepper, dried basil in the fried mushrooms and pour in the heavy cream. Cook the sauce yet 8-10 minutes. During this time, you also need to grate hard cheese in the sauce, I usually use parmesan. I rub it immediately in a pan with sauce and stir until it is completely melted. After this happens, you can consider the sauce ready and go to the next step.

Step 4: Cook the pasta.

Add fettuccine paste to the creamy mushroom sauce and mix everything carefully, but carefully so as not to damage the pasta. Then remove the finished dish from the heat and let it brew a little and cool, literally enough 5 minutes. Then you can safely praise yourself and go to the next step, that is, to serve the finished dish on the table.

Step 5: Serve the fettuccini with mushrooms.

- You can also add ground white pepper, dried herbs and other spices that you like.

- In order to enhance the cheese taste, add soft cream cheese to the sauce as well.

- You can use any other mushrooms instead of champignons, for example, chanterelles look very good here.
