Another recipe found in my mother's cookbooks ... I tried this wonderful Christmas recipe, so the photos are "seasonal".
- 100 g of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda or baking powder
- 1 or
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- flour content (225-250 g)
Preparation time: over 120 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Gingerbread:
Knead all the ingredients well and spread a 1 cm thick sheet. Then we give the shape we want.
Place in a tray lined with flour or baking paper and leave to rise for 6 to 12 hours (I did not have the patience to leave them for more than 6 hours), then put the tray in the oven at the right heat ( 170 degrees C) for 10 minutes. The oven must be preheated ....
You can glaze the gingerbread with powdered sugar mixed with a few drops of water or lemon juice.
